MANDATORY COMPETITIONS
Gown
Grace the stage in the gown of your dreams. Simply model your gown elegantly and naturally. Floor length gowns in all age divisions. Dresses should be in good condition and the color should flatter the delegate and reflect her personal style.You do not
need an expensive gown on the State or International level.
Personal Introduction
Your introduction should be no longer than 30 seconds. The introduction can be cute, funny and fluffy. It should say what you like to do in school, at home, your hobbies, your platform, your career (or future career), etc. Do NOT say your age. You should say your name and your home town and state/country. You do NOT say your delegate number. Your introduction is done on stage immediately following your on
stage gown wear.
Fun Fashion
This is the competition to showcase your personality, modeling skills, and
sense of style while wearing your favorite Fun Fashion outfit.
Interview
Interview with UIE is easy and fun. It’s very casual and all about you! No resume. Interview is panel style. Just be you! Ages 4-15 years old should wear standard pageant interview attire. Ages 16+ years old should wear interview attire suitable for a professional corporate interview. No "pageant interview attire" for Teen-Ms.
Only During Finals
On stage question will replace personal introduction on finals day for ages 16 years and older. These questions are not political or religious.
Examples of On Stage Questions:
"What is something you would tell your younger self?"
"If there is anything that you could do differently to empower yourself
what would it be?"
